Fabio´s career in packaging started in 2007 when he joined Alcan Packaging, and subsequently Amcor. Today, Fabio Peyer is Head of Sustainability with Mondi Flexible Packaging, based in Vienna. In his current position, Fabio is leading the product circularity strategy for Mondi´s paper bags, functional paper & films, consumer flexibles and kraft paper segments. He also represents Mondi in a number of key multi-stakeholders partnerships such as CEFLEX, and FPE. Over the years, he participated to a number of industry working groups on the subject of flexible packaging recycling. He is originally from Switzerland and holds a master’s degree in environmental chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
