Nicolas Elwing is General Manager Europe for PureCycle Technologies and leads the expansion and development in Europe.
Nicolas has 32 years operational experience as senior manager at multinational companies like IKEA, Danzer and Itochu. He has during his career been leading and developing international business and operations in Europe, Asia and USA. As Deputy General Managerat of IKEA Trading SA and CEO of Vinterio AG he managed two successful global company start-ups. Previous to PureCycle Technologies Nicolas founded and worked as senior advisor at Swiss Circular Economy.
Nicolas brings 25 years of experience from global plastic business including; trading plastic materials, production of plastic products, and pioneering in recycling of post-consumer polypropylene waste where he among other was part of developing and implementing a process to recycle polypropylene sorted from post-consumer waste. Nicolas studied Business Administration and International Business at Stockholm School of Economics.
