Dr. Stijn Billiet joined Multi-Color Corporation in May 2020 as the Director Global Sustainability. In this role he is responsible for the sustainability strategy across all divisions. He is an active member of the Recyclass advisory board, the leadership team from HolyGrail 2.0 and CELAB global board. Before that Stijn was working at Milliken & Company where he first was responsible for product development on additives for polyolefin resins and later took on responsibilities on the European Sustainability strategy. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry from Ghent University in Belgium, he earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry, specialised in polymer chemistry, from the same institution. Prior to that, he served as a visiting researcher at both the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and at UC Santa Barbara in California.Currently he is pursing his executive MBA degree at the Vlerick Business School.
